His conceptual art begins by sketching ideas into 'Thought Collages' that are then elaborated into larger works.

HISTORY

Marcel Kooij was portrayed by Wim Steyn at the age of 11, the beginning of structuarally drawing and painting of especially people and buildings. Graduated from the Technical University Delft (1985), specialization architecture and restauration. Since 2016 fully focussed on the visual arts.

Started in 2016 at Ralph de Lange, Art Academy Haarlem-Leiden and became a member of the association for professional artists KZOD in 2018.
